Robotics is a student-led program that challenges students to form a team, design and build a robot, program it, and collaborate with other teams in the state through robotics competitions. Teams will compete in 4-5 tournaments. Tournament dates will be released once the season begins. Practice will be open Monday through Thursday in the Washington Library. Once teams are established, they will have two committed practice days, either on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. The other two days of practice are optional for any student or team to come in and work on their robot or practice on the field. Robotics is heavily student-led. Mrs. Enstad will be there as a coach and facilitator, but ultimately, what the kids put in is what they get out. Practice starts at 3:15 and ends at 5:15. Students are welcome to bring a healthy snack if they wish.

Participants must currently be in grades 4 to 6.
